Meet our pianist, Sergey Iorov.

GSI Art Foundation is proud to present Sergey Iorov as part of our artistic team — a New York-based pianist and opera coach.
A graduate of the Moscow State Conservatory, Sergey completed his opera coaching training at the Young Artists Opera Program of the Bolshoi Theatre. He was a collaborative pianist for the Creative School of Elena Obraztsova Culture Center in Moscow, Russia and others opera masterclasses and festivals in Europe.


He performs regularly in New York concerts, works on recording sessions, and collaborates with classical singers in preparing opera roles and art songs. Sergey is currently on staff as accompanist at The Mannes School of Music, The New School.

Rebekka Mago is a vocal coach, Russian language coach, and collaborative pianist based in London.

Rebekka Mago has performed with internationally renowned singers such as Vladislav Sulimsky, Ildar Abdrazakov, Roman Burdenko, Luciano Ganci, Ekaterina Semenchuk, Kim Gihoon, Raehann Bryce-Davis and has collaborated with conductors including Valery Gergiev, Teodor Currentzis, Douglas Boyd, Speranza Scappucci, Alexander Polyanichko.

Her professional experience includes work with the Mariinsky Theatre, the St.Petersburg Conservatory and the Elena Obraztsova Academy of Music. In 2019, she served as the duty pianist for the vocal section of the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition in St Petersburg.

In 2025, she joins the Garsington Opera Festival as Russian coach and stage pianist for The Queen of Spades. She also worked as Russian language coach for War and Peace (Prokofiev) during the Spring Opera Scenes at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London.
